Born in Dublin Sophia was exposed to music from a young age. She began acting and musical theatre at the age of four with Leixlip Youth Theatre. Classical piano and voice training followed and she sat examinations with the Royal Irish Academy in piano and voice. She trained with vocal coaches Mary Brennan and Katheryn Smith.With a passion for music she continued on to attend National University of Ireland Maynooth where she studied music specialising in performance alongside Geography.
Graduating with an Honours Degree, Sophia turned her sights to pop and rnb as well as classical music. She moved to London where she started recording and writing her own material. While over there she performed in Madam JoJo's in the west end and the Tabernacle in Notting Hill. She also won the UKU cover vocal final in 2011.
On returning to Ireland she formed a band and played in the Academy.
She now travels back and forth to London recently performing in the Hat factory for the Luton passing the Batton festival.
Sophia is currently playing venue's around the Dublin Music Scene where she is well regarded and strives to achieve new goals and expand her audience.
